Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Satomi Ishihara: Tokyo Drama Awards show pics and Dear Sisters screenshots

Really didn't care much for the "Shitsuren Chocolatier" series but Satomi won the award for 'Best Supporting Actress' at the 2014 Tokyo Drama Awards show which was held on the 23rd. Thought she did fine in the drama but she's had much better roles, my two fave roles of her are from Ns. Aoi and H2, she didn't an award for either one of them but I recommend those two series first if you've never seen one of her shows, they're actually both much older ones of Satomi's. Have some pics here from the show and was hoping for a video of it but so far there hasn't been one released yet.

These screenshots are from episode 2 of the "Dear Sister" drama, as of right now this show hasn't been subbed nor have I heard any word if it is going to be. That's kind of surprising as I figured this show would have been picked up by some subbing team right after the first episode, so far no news either way if it's going to happen.

  1. She's gorgeous. I'm surprised you didn't mention "Rich Man, Poor Woman," or is that drama too mainstream? haha

  2. That was an okay show but also could have mentioned the "Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso" show which was quite good.
