Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Yui Aragaki: "Hug" CD promo pics and more....

Looks like it's going to be some oldie posts like these for a few more days, will be looking at episode two of Nogi's "Bemars" drama shortly but such a lack of new things to post about lately. Then again I did promise over a month ago that there would be more Gakky posts, since I made that promise have done exactly zero posts so think this is a good time to start bringing back some of her older things.
Don't know why Gakky suddenly stopped her singing career at the end of 2009, remember reading in a interview how she likes singing more than acting so it was kind of sad how she aborted that side of her career so quickly. Wonder if it was her choice though, her first two CDs sold well and the singles also were successful but her third CD "Niji" didn't do as well but there also wasn't much promoting for it.
To me "Hug" is really one of the better J-Pop albums form the last decade, there's not one bad song on it and it's really one of my all time faves. It's first week out it reached #5 on the Oricon charts, Gakky's first album had also made the top five in the charts. There was just one big single from the album which was "Make My Day", it's an excellent single but the album is so good it may not even be the best song on it.
Have some Gakky pics from the CD itself plus some other promo pics for it that were from the photo shoot of the album. Below all of them is the PV for "Make My Day", for some reason that was the only version that I could find on YT, at one time there were too many to count.
