Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Yui Aragaki: Kose promo event pics from March 1st

Was watching the "Dragon Zakura" drama over the weekend or at least a few episodes of it. Have viewed it at least 25 times, bought the DVD set about eight years ago so try to watch it every few months. While viewing it realized how few posts there are here for the series, there's a couple but not many and don't think they're as good as they could be. That was Gakky's first somewhat major role in a mainstream drama, her part wasn't huge but it was big enough and her character was a key part of the show. So that's another thing that's added to my 'too big to count' list which is doing a few more posts for the drama, of course you know who else was in it.
Gakky has been associated with Kose for five years now doing so many CM's, promo events and other things for them. The company is celebrating their 70th anniversary this year so sure we'll see Gakky at a few more events like this.
On March 1st Gakky was at a press conference for a new Kose cosmetics line called Sekkesei which is coming out in a few days. Gakky will also be in a new CM for the product and that's coming out on March 10th. Will be back on that date with the video and hopefully one for this event as there isn't one out yet but would think there will be very soon or at least hoping there will be.
