Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Erika Toda: "Konomachi" TV movie screenshots

Wouldn't mind seeing that pair in at least one more "SPEC" movie, all those TV and cinema films were so successful so wouldn't you think there'd be at least one more in the works? Haven't heard any rumors about that but will hold out the slightest hope that it'll happen as that's probably the best drama from the last 5 1/2 years.
Not going to give a review of this TV movie which aired last weekend on WOWOW yet. Also holding out hope that it may become subbed, it's only been a week since it aired so anything is possible. The movie took place in a veterinary hospital, Erika must certainly like being around animals. Bring that up as she's also appeared in the four "Kiseki no Dobutsuen" TV movies, they can roughly be translated over to 'Miracle Zoo'.
Have seen three of them and all were quite good though a bit fluffy, think this movie is much more serious. If this does get subbed will be back with a review on it along with many more screenshots, Erika looks so fabulous figured a few of her die hard fans would enjoy looking at some screenshots.

  1. I'll have to watch this later this summer. I'm just glad Erika is doing something. In the past few years, she just seems to bombard us with dramas and movies and then quietly disappears for a year.

  2. You're right about her disappearing for long stretches, the Death Note film comes out in October so let's hope that's not the next we see of her. That TV movie is available at Asia Torrents or actually think their name now is Aviatz.
