Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Satomi Ishihara: (very) Few recent happenings....

Sadly very few is too correct of a title but with the latest Godzilla movie coming out on July 29th we should have some more new happenings this week. That post for the Godzilla screening ten days ago was Satomi's first post of the year, mentioned then I would go back to see if there was anything I had missed for 2016. There was a reason there were no posts as my hunt came up with very little, few things but too much.
However do have a few new mag spreads that have come out this week, closer Satomi gets to 30 the better she looks. First spread is an A++++ one from the August 3rd issue of Weekly Shonen.

Other Satomi spread is from volume two of Top Log, think it's a new mag.

Did find a few things on my 2016 hunt such as these promo pics that came out in May for Aube.

Satomi has had a few CM's this year but not going to post them but will this one for 'Find My Tokyo' which came out at the end of March. Have some pics from their site along with some screenshots from one her CM's along with a making of the CM video.

  1. All of my favorites are turning 30. It's making me feel old, since I'll be joining them relatively soon.

  2. Know what you mean, can remember watching my first Satomi drama, "H2", back in 2006 when she was 19 and now it's been a decade of following her. Have mentioned it in a few of my posts that I really do prefer women around this age these days versus ones that are twenty, wonder what my likes will be ten years from now?
