Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Yui Aragaki: (very) Few (again) recent happenings....

With "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" starting up in 18 days would think(hope) we'll be hearing more from Gakky but said that two weeks ago and since then there's been very little. Little is what we have today but think there's enough pics for a decent post. There are a few new mag spreads that she'll be in that will be coming out shortly and will have them when they're released, starting off with an A+ set from the November issue of Voce as Gakky has the front and back covers.

Was just scrolling through YT and there are some promo videos for "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" there if you want to check them out. Here's some screenshots from a short TBS promo that aired on September 20th.

Don't know how long some of you Gakky fans have followed her but at one time she also combined her acting career with a singing one. Always thought her tunes were very good and her second album "Hug" is highly recommended. That came out in June 2009 and for some strange reason her third album "Niji" came out only three months after that which was her final album.
Two of the songs were used for the "Hanamizuki" film which is why that album was probably rushed out, shame there's been no new songs since then as Gakky has said she prefers singing over acting. Think there's only been one song ever posted here so have a second one for you to enjoy which is "Heavenly Days" from her first album "Sora" aka Sky. That song was also featured in her 2007 film "Sky of Love", that album came out in the same year. The album did well as it was #3 on the Oricon charts in it's first week out selling 72,000 copies and remained on the charts for another ten weeks.
