Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Yui Aragaki: 'TBS All Star' show screenshots and video

From October until the end of the year is really one busy stretch for the Japanese entertainment industry and luckily also a busy period for my bigger faves. Gakky has been doing quite a lot promotions for her next drama starting on Tuesday "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu". The two seasons of "Legal High" were quite good but Gakky's other dramas since 2011 have really only been so-so, this looks like her best series in a long time.
The 'TBS All Star' show is held every quarter and it features the casts of the new dramas for that quarter, they're always entertaining watches. If you're a Gakky fan then you really need to watch the video after the screenshots, she's truly looking better than ever lately and glad to see someone undid her wraps for one night(?). Gakky takes a turn with the bow and arrow, she did a fair job but it was good enough as she finished #1 in the four person competition.
You'll notice Yuki Himura cheering her on in the video, he's a member of the Bananaman duo who are the hosts of the "Nogizaka Under Construction" show. Gakky was with him in the 2005 comedy show "Rakka Onna" which is such a funny show, quite often some episodes are on YT but get taken down quickly. Luckily I downloaded 32 episodes a few years back and if possible would recommend doing that too, even a few of them are subbed.
