Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Yuko Oshima: "Shippu Rondo" movie screening pics and video

Have noticed the last few years when actresses/Idols get to be about thirty years old they like to release photobooks to show everyone they look better with age. Let's hope Yuko is thinking along those lines as her books have been nothing less than perfect, especially her last one from 2014. Bring that up because Yuko just posted this pic on her Instagram account, this Monday which is the 17th she'll be hitting the ripe old age of 28!!!!

Here's a few other pics Yuko posted on her Instagram account for yesterday's event.

Yuko's last film was a moderate success as it spent three weeks in the top ten at the box office. That film is "Sanada Ten Braves" and it came out in September 22nd, lot of competition as there's been a lot of big budget films that have come out recently.
"Shippu Rondo" is officially coming out on November 26th and on October 13th the first screening of the film took place. The event took place at the Tokyo Urban Dock LaLaport, instead of having a red carpet it was a white one as the film takes place on snowy mountains, turns out that Yuko is a very fine skier. Many pics here from the event and Yuko really looks so tiny standing next to Abe who is the star of the film, their difference in height is 39 cm! After these fine pics you can view a video of the screening.
