Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.
Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Mei Nagano: "Hanbun, Aoi" drama press conference pics and one mag spread
Was going to wait until next week for the next Mei post which was going to be for the 'Girls Locks!' show as she'll be hosting next week's show. But this event came up today and really needed to do a post for it, will still have that 'GL' post next week along with more pics from this event.
Mei is such an extremely cute gal you wonder why she doesn't appear in a lot of magazines. The only reason I can really think of is that Mei's a bit conservative and doesn't do gravure spreads. This one spread two months old but it's a fine looking set of pics from the April 27th Tokyo Walker.
You probably only need one hand to count how many of my predictions have ever come true but finally I may have been right with one. For months have been saying that Mei is on the verge of becoming such a popular actress and that soon huge roles would be coming her way. That has happened as it was announced today that Mei will have the starring role in the NHK Spring asadora "Hanbun, Aoi" which will be starting in April.
It's an honor to be selected for the starring role and I'm really pleased that Mei received the role, perhaps producers have been reading her posts here! Not much info has come out about the show yet as the announcement was just made today and it won't be starting for close to nine months. The ratings for those morning dramas are always very high and so many actresses over the years have become huge stars after starring in them.
There was a press conference held today, June 20th, at the NHK Hall in Shibua. In the asadora Mei will be playing the role of Suzume who grows up in Gifu. She lost the hearing in one ear but wants to become a cartoonist and moves to Tokyo to achieve that dream. I've tried watching about five of these series but at 156 episodes it's hard to finish one but this is a show I will attempt to finally view all of the shows which are 15 minutes long. Plenty of fine looking pics here of Mei from today's press conference but there's no trustworthy video of it yet so will have one in next week's post.
