To help a bit with their dire finances, the couple has taken in a boarder to live on the second floor, problem is he's also a struggling manga artist who has trouble paying his rent, this was set up by a former friend of Shigeru's, perhaps not exactly a friend but someone from his past who is able to use Shigeru and never has any shame about it. The finances of the still somewhat new couple somehow get even worse, through a project with his publisher Shigeru tried to make his mangas even more successful but this venture failed horrobly, while he had a growing number of fans they didn't purchase enough of his books. The failed venture led to Shigeru not getting paid and actually losing money as Fumie had to dip into their dwindling money supply to buy things for the failed project.
Fumie, though a bit down compared to when they first got married, kept a positive outlook on things, she really learned to stretch things out and was becoming quite a good homemaker. During this week it was also when Fumie and Shigeru started to get a bit closer, he was a bit of a stubborn hothead but slowly was realizing what his wife was going through in such a different lifestyle than she was accustomed to. What helped them too get a bit closer was a lot of old friends would pop in now and again, Fumie had known hardly anything about his past but started to learn so much more about him by meeting his old friends. One other thing during this week was Fumie saw her sister Kuniko on occasion, she lived the opposite of Fumie as she was in a nice house with a husband with a good steady job but she was sworn to secrecy by Fumie not to reveal her dire situation to her family which she did, the family still thought all was going well in Tokyo for Fumie.
And that's a quick wrap of the sixth week, not sure how much time has passed since their marraige, they haven't said what year it was but don't all that much time has passed, think it's still 1961 as they haven't had a Chistmas or New Years since they got married. And once again something I can never get sick of, Nao screenshots from this week's shows.

Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
