On to week 7 where I've taken a mini break from it, this week isn't too different than the previous couple as our still newly married couple are struggling worse than ever with their finances and living day to day. Things got so bad for Shigeru at Tomita Publishing that her ended up quitting the job, really no loss as he wasn't getting paid for his work, the boss there had made some bad business decisions and had no money to pay but by the end of this week it looks like Shigeru has found a better place to work.
The two of them seem to be getting along better than ever, Fumie has also started giving him a hand in coloring his mangas. Also Fumie finally confessed to the woman who owned the local rental manga shop who her husband was and was the writer of the Gegege No Kitaro manga, which now was proudly displayed in the store but only had a cult following. More aand more of Shigeru's old friends seemed to trek through, they do always seemed down on their luck, Shigeru though perhaps worse off than many of them always helped them out often to the disamy of Fumie.
And here is where I stop for now, though a really good series can get a bit tiring to watch so many episodes in a row plus the last few weeks not many major events but sure that will change. Will probably come back in the future with more from this fine show, kept these recaps a bit brief so as not to spoil it too much for you, hopefully there's enough info in the reviews and screenshots so that you'll want to check it out, really a fine watch but be prepared to give up a lot of your time if you're going to watch the whole show. And as par for the course many more Nao screenshots here with some voiceovers from Fumie's deceased grandmother who also narrated the drama.
