Done some reviews with a bunch of screenshots for some
Hideko films, there really isn't much sense to review them as I figured out after watching I think 14 in all now that they're all worth watching, they don't need a review they just need to be watched, especially the ones she did with Naruse. So instead of reviewing a few more because as noted every single one is worth watching, some may be better than others but every one is highly recommended, so decided to post some screenshots of a few of her movies starting off with this one from 1949 called
Ginza Musume, watched this unsubbed but was still easy enough to follow.
From 1950 the
Munekata Sisters, directed by Yasujiro Ozu, another person whose every movie needs to be seen,
Hideko really looked super throughout her whole career, she would have been 26 at the time of this movie, also check out the next post for many more screenshots from two more films.
