Yuko's role started out fairly small but by the end of the series it was a fairly big one, though it started out slow her character really was the main focus of the show as she was the 'leader' of Majisuka Gakuen high school and also the leader of her gang, Rappapa. Like most of the rest Yuko used her real name in the show, for most of it she was in the hospital, though they didn't say what her illness was it was a major one and she wasn't supposed to have much time left to live but she was able to attend her graduation ceremony which was the last we saw of her, not sure if her character died shortly after that as she was in a wheelchair by that time.
