Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Aya Ueto: Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de episode 2 screenshots

Pace picked up a bit this episode though Hako(Aya) doesn't seem to have a big role in solving all her problems or the ones around her nor at least knowing what to do. Hako still hasn't found a job, not sure where she's getting her cash from but has met a young man at a local store who seems to be falling for her and perhaps she has some feelings too but won't tell him about her life in prison. Guest starring this episode was Asami Usuda who played Hako's old college friend Mayumi, she's currently having severe problems as her husband is abusing her badly but won't admit it to anyone. Eguchi(Naoko) though had the same problems, reason she did a prison sentence was she solved it by killing her husband 7 years ago, she eventually straightened out Mayumi to face up to her husband, whether she did or not may not be known unless this was more than a one episode appearance for her.

Bit of an improvement this episode but still clueless where this show is going to lead, not much of a plot yet. Naoko so far has had the beefier role, think she may be the best thing through the first 2 shows in this drama, Aya has been fine but her character needs more of a storyline though there's still 8 episodes to go so a bit too early to make any judgments about what's happened or may happen.
