Kie Kitano: Tenshi wa Mop wo Motte episode 4 screenshots and recap
And now for the finale of this very short drama, only 4 episodes at 28 minutes each but that's okay, it was entertaining and every now and again you need these kind of dramas, plus Kie as Kiriko was her usual kawaii self.
This time around the 'love mystery' revolved around Kiriko, we've known all along a worker at her building named Daisuke has liked her all along but he's not the only one to have taken a liking to her. This fact was unknown for most of this episode as the major story here was someone was vandalizing the men's bathroom each night doing some really terrible things and making Kiriko have to work so much harder and longer to clean the messes up each morning. Kiriko and Daisuke had even waited through the night to catch the vandal but to no avail, the bathroom was still a complete mess in the morning. Eventually Daisuke waited by himself one early morning and found the culprit who was a coworker whose office was a few floors up and was in a high position in the company. The worker did have a huge crush on Kiriko and his plan was to keep leaving such messes each morning so she would quit, he thought she was such a wonderful person that being a janitor was too beneath her. Well, that plan failed miserably for him as Kiriko's first love as always been cleaning for some reason, not just the building where she worked but everything in general, such as when she cleans others sins away. But as usual all ended on a happy note as the worker got told off to an extent but that wasn't fired, he seemed to have learned the errors of his misguided thinking and Kiriko ended up forgiving him too. Show really ended on that note, one lingering question is whether Kiriko and Daisuke would ever get together, seems a sure bet that they would it wasn't that way yet at the drama's conclusion.
If you like sort of sappy, lame and forgettable dramas then would recommend this one, it's enjoyable to kick back and watch these kind of series now and again, they always don't work but think this one did. Total length of the series was only 112 minutes so it's like watching a movie that had 4 different storylines in it, so if it's quickie show you're looking for then you've found it here, I'd rate it a solid 8/10. Being such a short show means I couldn't take enough screenshots of Kie who looked terrific as always in this show, enjoy these pics of her and coming up shortly will also be doing a recap of her TV movie from March, her second Unfair movie.
