Was going to wait until this series finished before doing any more posts on it but had figured there were 2 episodes left when there were actually 3 so try doing that again, this Friday is the finale of the drama which will give it a total of 11 episodes.
Have said many times over that it's been a disappointing series, not a bad one but should have been so much better though the last episode ended up much better and set itself up nicely for this episode. And it did as this was one of the best if not best episodes to date, had it been like this all along had a chance to be the #1 drama for this quarter. Sarurako's(Aya) falling in love with the human Hayato has created a huge riff between her and her vampire friend of over 100 years, Komachi(Tsubasa). At the end of episode 8 Komachi had bitten Hayato on the neck but strangely he's still a human, thought that's how a human became a vampire though so far he hasn't but hasn't been revealed he hasn't changed to one either. Finally the Count has made a reappearance as Komachi has sought him out and the two may become allies, his giving her human blood may have a small part in that as she relished it after having been off it for so long. The two have developed a plan for her to get Hayato but the plan on what they're going to do with Sarurako hasn't been revealed but Komachi has taken down the force field that kept out vampires at the cafe she was staying at.
That mostly sums up this episode, lot of the episodes have been clock watching as they've dragged even at only 23+ minutes a show but this one didn't and has set itself up for a solid ending. Not sure though if Komachi has really sided with the Count, have a feeling she may be setting a trap for him, hard to believe she would throw her friendship with Sarurako so easily but perhaps that's what happens when a vampire falls in love with a human. Will be back in about a week to recap the last two episodes but here's a bunch of screenshots from this last episode, Tsubasa is really looked fantastic in this show.
