Risa has finally come to her decision about Kengo's offers and naturally she has replied yes. This has been a secret that Kengo has kept from everyone including his mother, best friend and fiancee! Kengo brings Risa back to his house and really shocked his mother when he told her the news of their upcoming marriage, she was really thrown for a loop and figured something fishy was going on. And she was right about that as Kengo finally explains to her what is going on and she also needs to keep it a secret for if the doctor knows about their contract to be married then he would say no to the transplant.
It's not an official deal yet though as Risa needs to go through some tests at the hospital to find if her liver would be compatible with Maria's. Dr. Kamiya is shocked to say the least when he gets introduced to Kengo's new fiancee, he knows something is going on and tries to talk Kengo out of the marriage with no success.
Risa completed all the tests and her kidney would be compatible with Maria's body so it appears as though the transplant is on. Maria knows absolutely nothing about a transplant, the family and the doctor has still kept that a secret from her. Also Maria knows nothing about her brother's new fiancee, she's gotten along really well with Mianko, it'll break her heart when she finds out that her and brother are not getting married which she learns about in the next episode.
Towards the end of the episode Maria and Risa do bump into each other at the hospital but of course do not know each other. Risa is giving Maria her kidney but still doesn't know anything about her nor what she looks like, there's a lot of secrets going on. And the secret about Kengo's new bride could come back to haunt him as at the end of the episode Maria shows the doctor a picture of Minako who she still thinks is getting married to her brother, once the doctor sees the picture he knows he's being scammed but is there anything he can do about it?
Don't know if the doctor can stop the transplant or not, true it's a contract marriage but if Kengo and Risa keep it a secret there's not much anyone can do about it. And that's where we stand now, mentioned there's a lot of secrets that Kengo has and they're slowly going to be revealed in the next few episodes and they really do end up hurting quite a few people. Mentioned last post about how great Aya looks in this drama and she does but really hardly any female in the world can top Kii's level of kawaiiness, she seriously looks magnificent in this show.
