Nana Katase as Rina, does the wardrobes for A.N.Jell and Nana
Miyuki Imori as Shigeko Sakuraba, Mio's aunt

All the episodes are solid but this may be the only one that wasn't quite so except towards the end though when it got a bit intense. Poor Mio is such a confused young woman with all these romantic feelings she has for Ren plus the way all the other band members feel about her. Now things take a turn for the worse as Mio has caught the flu and a bad case of it as she's laid up in bed and forbidden to do any band activities.
That tends to take up too much of the episode as not all that much happens with Mio as she's bedridden for the first 2/3 of the show. Shu has not stopped trying to win over Mio's heart, he's known about her being a female all the time yet hasn't admitted it to her yet, not sure if that's the best thing for him to do but her thinks so but that's only up until now.
Mio has her debut coming up for her "Alone" song and he buys her a nice dress to wear for it, she of course had no clue about him knowing about her secret but how can she wear a dress to her debut as she's still supposed to be a male.

It's the day of the debut and what should Mio do, she's having such a hard time living with herself keeping the secret. Shu knew that when he bought her the dress, he's behind her 100% if she decides to let the world know her secret but that is not an easy thing for her to do. Have to say it's hard not to feel for Mio in the last part of this episode, she truly gets quite hurt and embarrassed, I really felt for her.
At the debut Nana is in attendance, Ren has decided to stop the sham of the two of them going out and has broken all ties with her. Nana is seeking her revenge for that and she's finally going to do such a devilish act and that's during the debut to reveal who Mio really is, destroying Mio and possibly the band. But things never quite work out the way Nana wants them to, she doesn't know it but Mio has decided to wear Shu's new dress, she really looks so cute in it. No one else knows it either, at the debut the plan is for the lights to go out and have Mio make a grand entrance which she does clad in her new dress. Ren is there but has a disease with his eyesight where he can't see in the dark, he's right at the entrance but can't see when Mio enters the auditorium, she's truly in tears and on the verge of breaking down when she makes her entrance.

Luckily for Mio no one else can notices her at first in the dress except for Shu who rushes to her aid at the entrance way. He throws his coat over her head and is prepared to get her out of there quickly when there is a minor uproar. No one could see Mio's face and wanted to know who this woman was and  also where was Mio? Shu right then, bit sneakily too, said that this woman was Mio's twin sister(!) and was his new girlfriend, now the uproar was even louder as he escorted her out of the auditorium before anyone could see Mio's face. Few upset people too, there was no Mio debut for her fans, Nana's plans went up in smoke and Ren was totally confused about what just happened, there was no way he thought that Shu and Rio were going out, was there?
That ending was really intense, first 2/3 of the show dragged a bit but the ending more than made up for it, it honestly is hard not to feel the hurt Mio was going through, still a tear in my eye. Many lingering questions were finally answered but now many new ones thanks to that ending have popped up, are Shu and Mio going to start dating? What about the band, do they or their fans want a female member? Is Mio now going to ditch her act of being her twin brother and remain a girl? All those and a few more things of course will eventually get answered, lot of hearts end up getting broken though in the next few episodes and sadly Mio's gets broken more than any of the others.
