Tsubasa's character of Shiori is 22 years old on the show and when the new Shomuni unit started she had never had a boyfriend, she still doesn't but there may be something happening in the future with an employee named Miura in the Sales Department. On episode four Shiori tagged along on a go-kon, things didn't work out well for her or any of the other Shomuni women. A dating site called 'Matching Love' has recruited Manpan to help them with their PR, the head of that company is a dashing, rich and successful man who happens to go try his service to find the perfect match.\
He ends up with Masuyo from Shomuni and the pair hit it off quite well, so well he actually proposed to her in front of the other Shomuni women, to his and their surprise she ended up rejecting his proposal, she explained she didn't want to meet someone through a dating service though he was everything she had hoped for. The unit was also handed the assignment to find out if there was a male in the office who was using unscrupulous methods to get Misuzu to go out with him, there was and he turned out to the the president's nephew. No penalties were assessed against though as he did confess to being a secret admirer of Misuzu and that quickly got swept under the rug.
That's a brief recap of this episode and of course more happened though those were the main themes to this show. It actually the storylines weren't that strong yet it turned out to be a real solid watch, best episode since the first one, always helps when Tsubasa's role is bigger and it was on this show.

Another reason these recaps are shorter than usual is that I've written all five in a row, my brain gets a bit frazzled after doing so many and even though they're not too long it still takes close to two hours to write them up.
Just watched this one today, four more to go after this fifth episode and the last two have shown improvement and hope it stays that way until the end. While not illegal if there's something shady going on at Manpan you can be sure Shomuni is involved and in this show they are as they also run some office gambling pools. The gals always bet heavy yet never seem to win, the main pool on this show was who was going to be promoted to be a new director. Also in this episode the company was clamping down on their Compliance rules as they're grown quite lax over the years in enforcing them, naturally Shiori represented the unit as she's now their team leader though only in title.
The Shomuni gals thought a man named Iragashi(I already forget) was going to be named the new director though he was kind of a nondescript kind of employee. The unit thought so because Misuzu was secretly seeing him, seems when others had dated it they've been selected for a promotion, they consider her a good luck charm. However the Shomuni unit is accused by the Compliance committee in stealing things from the office even though they were supposed to get thrown out. It wasn't them who had taken them home but it was Iragashi who had taken them for some needy children he was mentoring, Misuzu though confessed to taking those items home. The whole unit was supposed to be fired because of this but they had found out that the whole office had also done many things that were not allowed by company policy and once again they came out of a situation unscathed.
No office pool winnings for them as Iragashi ended up quitting Manpan, after five episodes and all the adventures the unit has gone through they're still exactly where they were in the first episode which is still at the bottom of the company's totem pole. Four more episodes to go and will be back with some more recaps in a few weeks probably, been an up and down drama up to this point, few bad episodes and a few enjoyable ones which to date has earned a rating of a 7.5/10.
