Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Saki Fukuda: "Owakon" drama episode 7 recap and screenshots

This drama ran on the NHK BS Premium channel for a total of eight episodes with it's start date July 1, 2014 and it's air time was Tuesdays at 11:15 pm.

Main Cast:

Sonny Chiba as Genjiro Aramaki... President of Chocolate TV
Kotaro Koizumi as Keisuke Mihashi.... Producer
Nana Katase as Kanako Minamoto.... Producer
Saki Fukuda as Misaki Shinoda.... Assistant Director
Shigeyuki Totsugi as Hayabusa Takahashi.... Producer
Satoshi Tomiura as Masaharu Kinoshita.... Misaki's assistsnt
Yuya Endo as Jun Tsukamoto..... Assistant Director
Yui Ichikawa as Tadashi Komata.... Temporary clerical worker

Last two shows was a two-parter as Chocolate TV's long time variety show host Yoneda is retiring, he's been the face of them for many decades plus is responsible for most of their meager profits. Chocolate TV is going to produce a live documentary on Yoneda's life with many special guests appearing along with many highlights of his life.
Yoneda has been close to Chocolate TV's president Aramaki for a long time and when the pair were at a club one night he revealed the reason for his sudden retirement, that reason being he has stomach cancer. Aramaki is now determined to make the best documentary ever for his friend but the two questions arise and that's who is going to air the show and where will they get the funds. It appears as though Dai-Nippon TV will fund the whole documentary and it'll air on their station, they're also willing to supply a budget of 100 million yen! Their rivals Chuo TV aren't happy about hearing this and are working behind the scenes to woo Yoneda to have a documentary on their channel but are willing to spend only 50 million yen on it leaving Aramaki and the rest of the staff at Chocolate TV fuming which is where the episode ends to be continued.
Rushing through these faster than I expected but then again these reviews haven't been all that long. Has been a few weeks since I finished this drama so it's a good thing I take many screenshots for each episode as I've already forgotten a few things. Actually the best thing about all of the screenshots up until now is that they feature Saki, these ones do too but for a change for this and the last episode have included all of the cast members, Yui also looks quite good in this drama.
