Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kasumi Arimura: YS-Web #649 week one scans
Kasumi's two films this year in which she's had the lead role in have done excellent at the box office. Her first film "Strobe Edge" hit #1 in it's first week out and stayed in the top ten for six weeks. Meanwhile her current film which came out on May 1st "Biri Girl" has also been a huge success, it's last two weeks it's been at the #2 position at the box office. As a matter of fact she beat her agency mate Erika last week as her new film "Kakekomi" was #3 in it's first week out.
These YS-Web spreads generally run for three weeks so expect another post or two for them coming up soon, these pics here are honestly second to none.

Man, I'm becoming a Kasumi fan because of you haha. I've only seen her SPEC, but I'm planning on catching her currently airing drama that also stars Sawajiri Erika.
ReplyDeleteKasumi has moved way, way up on my list so far this year, she's always been incredibly cute but now she's moved on to that next stage in beauty. As far as dramas go it wasn't a must watch but has a good role in the "Shitsuren Chocolatier" series that also stars Satomi, Amachan though quite long is worth a watch.
