Have only been doing for this series but kind of liking doing these one post recaps with screenshots versus having a second post with just screenshots. One post means making the recaps a bit shorter in order to squeeze all the pics into the post, thinking about doing this for future dramas too but what's making it possible is that I have been taking nearly as many screenshots for this show.
Tsubasa has been the only one who I've been taking them for, this past episode was rather good but she really didn't appear until the 19 minute mark hence not all that many screenshots. On to the recap and hoping I can manage to do it in 2-3 paragraphs, been trying not to give away all that spoilers as it's been a decent watch up to now and would suggest watching it. Ratings have been solid for it, after four episodes the average rating was 10.84% which places it in the fourth position for the Summer rating season.

At the end of episode four Akari and Shota had a big falling out, one reason was for an old letter he stole from Miura seven years before but the main reason was that he had met Akari's father without her knowing about it. Shota offered the father 500.000 yen to leave town and to never see Akari again, he took the money and fled. Another intern at Shota's hospital saw what happened and reported this to Akari, Shota then couldn't give a good explanation to her on why he did that as Akari then fled from his apartment and disappeared which brings us into the fifth episode.
Akari hasn't disappeared as she's managed to find her father's address from Miura's architect company and she travels to meet him. Things don't go smoothly at all for Akari at all as when she get's to her father's house a woman answers the door, Akari has no clue who she is but the woman invites her in to wait for her father. Akari didn't tell her that it was her father she was looking for but instead he was an old aquataince from a previous job.
Akari's father then shows up and he goes along with her story, don't think he really had a choice. The father is now living with this woman who also has a young daughter from a previous marriage, the pair are planning on getting married soon. There was no way Akari wanted to break the two up so she leaves shortly, in tears too I might add but who does she happen to meet in the street but Miura.

Miuro had also found the address of Akari's father and he went looking for him, he had no plans if he did meet him but the main goal was to stop Akari from seeing him though he was too late for that. Will add in about Miura that he was about to get back together with Ruiko before this all happened, she had asked him if they could start their relationship again and it looked like he was going to say yes to that. But Ruiko was there when Miura heard the news about the father, she gave him a very bad excuse about why they shouldn't go out together again, he didn't believe her but realized she was right as his heart still belongs to Akari.
After the pair meet up after Akari's fateful encounter with her father they once again spend the day together, seems as though Japanese adults can work or go to school whenever they feel like it, plus they never call in when they're not going to show up. The pair had a fairly enjoyable day together and Akari seems to have gotten over what happened with her father though you would think he'll be popping up again.
As far as Shota goes we've been led to believe he's not the nicest of guys, he still isn't but this episode also showed that he had a kinder side which he tried to hide. When he gave Akari's father the money it wasn't to get rid of him just so Akari wouldn't see him but what it was is that he was going to ask Akari for the money! Well when Shota heard that he instead gave the father money and told him to leave if the only reason he wanted to see Akari again was to keep asking her for money.  Shota's secret did come out and Miura also learned about that towards the end of the show, he also felt bad about thinking Shota was a bad person. Akari also has learned the truth about why Shota gave her father money but will it be enough to get them back together? There still is that matter of the note Akari had written to Miura seven years before which Shota had stolen, Miura to this day has no knowledge of the note or what happened.

And that sums up the latest episode fairly well, most of what happened took place from the 19 minute mark and on as Akari didn't make an appearance until then. Sort of a slow stretch before then but it still was an improvement over the last few episodes, actually this is turning out to be a fairly solid watch and to be honest much better than I had expected.
Still was a little longer recap than planned but like the length it was plus gave away enough details without giving away too, too much as if you started it yet would recommend it. This should be the halfway point of the series as most dramas these days last ten episodes so let's hope the second half keeps the momentum going. Few more screenshots of Tsubasa to end of with, kind of at a loss for words to describe how adorable she looks in the show so we'll just let the pics talk for themselves.
