They probably don't get enough credit but the Undergirls are really an important part of the group as they do sing some of the b-sides solo plus they get a chance to perform many songs at the concerts which gives the regular members a chance to catch their breath. That hard work appears to be paying off as the Undergirls which total 20 members will be performing two concerts this December at Budokan, bet it'll be one entertaining show. They'll probably do some of the group's big hits but also they have so many b-sides they've done they'll have no shortage of songs, who knows as may be there will be a single from them before those concerts.
On to this concert and the girls performed four songs I think, could have been five but the exact number slips my mind. When you're an Undergirl you need to work harder so you can move up to the ranks of a Senbatsu which a few have done this year, actually some of the girls have switched back and forth in the ranks such as Miona. Nothing more to add about the concert but am working on a few solo posts for some of these members, think the first one will be this weekend and will be of Hinako who has never made it to the status of a Senbatsu member yet. Wonder if some of the girls get a little discouraged about always being a Undergirl as some of them have been with the group for many years now, that could be a reason too why they're having those Budokan concerts.
