Last post for this drama said it was up in the air whether I was going to continue with these posts, episodes 3 and 4 were so disappointing said unless the series improves will stop the posts. There was a slight improvement in this episode though not a huge one but figured can do at least one more post. Will finish this series, if the episodes are solid views then will post about that show, then again the drama is probably ten episodes so if I do a few more posts will probably end up reviewing the whole drama. Have been making the posts for this series a bit shorter than other dramas, main reason is because not all that much happens plus try to squeeze the screenshots and recap onto one post.
Out of Xin-Hing's past appears Bai Lan who was also a member of the Legion organization, to him she was the only person there that he could trust and rely on. Ryo and Glass Heart have suggested to him not to get to close to her but that goes nowhere, not sure why Xin-Hing wants to get close to her again as there was no romance in their past.

It was just  a chance meeting as Bai has no plans top work again with Xin-Hong, she's still a member of Legion and unknown to him and Ryo at first she's on a mission. That mission is to assassinate an enemy of Legion who a few years prior was the mastermind behind three key deaths of some higher ups in the organization. That man is named Hayakawa who also was severely injured in that attack as he's now confined to a wheelchair plus his only daughter was dead but that wasn't the result of Legion's evil doings.
Bai looked so much like Hayakawa's daughter that he took her into his household, she tricked him into doing that by stabbing herself but saying some burglars had injured her. Bai has grown quite close to him after the six months she's lived in his mansion but the day to eliminate him is quickly approaching, is she now too close to him to complete the job?
The answer to that is yes, she told her Legion bosses she would take care of the murder but they had doubts about her and sent a team in to do the assassination. Luckily for Bai Hayakawa had hired Ryo for the occasion so he, Glass Heart and Xin-hong were there when the hit squad showed up.

Of course the trio was able to repel that hit squad but they had planted three bombs in the mansion, two had gone off with no injuries but what about the last one? The final bomb was in Hayakawa's room and he knew it was there, he was all prepared to die for he had a terminal disease and would only have a short time to live. Ryo knew about the disease and though Bai wanted to stay with Hayakawa even though it would mean her death Ryo and the team subdued her and brought her to safety. Shortly after that the bomb did explode sending Hayakawa do his death, it was also considered a victory to Legion. Seems they didn't care too much about Bai's outcome, if she perished in the explosion that was fine, it was also fine if she escaped as long as she was never heard of again. That final thing is what happened to her as she's living safely in some undisclosed location.

That about wraps things up, the first 25 minutes were just so slow again, most of the action happened in the next 15 minutes which was really the only reason for this post. Do notice these recaps are not just shorter but kind of uninspiring on my part, when a series is really good the words tend to flow out easier, so-so dramas like this are much harder for me.
This series boils down to being so disappointing and frustrating, it really should be so much better. Because it was based upon the 'City Hunter" manga thought this would be like the Korean series, it's anything but that as it's such a pale comparison. Plus it does have the potential to be so much better, there's so many interesting possible story lines that never get realized, don't know what happened to the series as the first two episodes were so action packed and intense.
Ratings have slipped too so maybe others are having the same thoughts, it's gone from a high of 12.5% for the first episode all the way down to 7.1% for the sixth episode. We'll see if the next episode is worth another post, if so will be doing that one about a week from now and also here's some more screenshots from this episode.
