Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Lee Yeon-hee: (better be) The first of many overdue posts....

Shouldn't there be a law on the Earth preventing someone from looking so out of this world?

Never did end up posting about Yeon-hee's "Miss Korea" drama, was thinking about it but those were among the pics that were lost when my laptop crashed. Also lost her 'Hello Schoolgirl" film but will try to get it again, looks like a very entertaining movie.
Been kind of souring on Japanese dramas lately, have one okay one I'm finishing up but besides that there's been no recent ones that look like they're worth a watch. Few questions the any K-drama fans, how is Yeon-hee's "Phantom" aka Ghost drama that aired in 2012?
Also was thinking on viewing a current series titled 'Vampire Detective", haven't started it as it's only had four episodes but was wondering if any of you think it may be worth a watch? If not are there any other K-dramas from the last two years that you would consider just watches, prefer a series that are 12-16 episodes but if there's a really good show please drop a comment. That doesn't mean I'm stopping my J-drama watching, do have a pair of new TV movies that will be reviewed soon, hopefully one of them tomorrow but for the time being may need a break from dramas.

Though there hasn't been a post on her for quite a long time have been following Yeon-hee's activities. Sadly there aren't enough of them as it's been a while since she's appeared in a drama or film and haven't heard of any upcoming ones. Sometimes I do get into these 'Korean spurts' but won't be doing it again but am planning on doing a few posts each week for a few of my big faves, just because there haven't been any posts for them recently doesn't mean I've stopped following them.
Hoping there will be enough for three or so posts this week for new happenings but most of them are for promo events. There is one somewhat newish mag spread which is from the February issue of Sure, with her is BoA who was once so huge, wonder if she still is? First seven pics are for the regular spread while the others are bonus ones from the photo shoot.

On March 3rd a ravishing Yeon-hee appeared at a promo event for Burberry, she's been one of their models for a few years now. in one of those upcoming posts will try to have her pics for their Spring/Summer collection.

If you thought the above pics were ravishing(they are) Yeon-hee topped those pics with her appearance at an event for the 'Lucky Chouette' Fall/Winter collection on March 29th. Doesn't make sense for a Fall event to be happening as Summer hasn't even started, wow does she look...WOW(?)!

Last thing for now are some recent promo pics for IOPE, she was at a new store opening for them on April 14th and will have those pics in her next post as she simply looked breathtaking at it. Following these pics is a CM from last November for IOPE.

  1. Ghost/Phantom is really good, probably her second best drama after Miss Korea.

Regarding BoA, her career is probably dead in Japan at this point, but she is supposed to release her 15th anniversary album in Japan this year. She's focused more on Korea the past six years in music, variety and acting.

  2. OCN thrillers tend to be pretty good. I enjoyed my beautiful bride(16 ep), bad guys (11 ep, probably the most entertaining one) and missing noir m (10 ep, never gets boring)
