Han Hyo-Joo: 2016 happenings #3- promo events
Do admit these last few months I've probably done too many Idol posts and there's no doubt many of them look so super-duper. But actually I really prefer a woman like Hyo-Joo, seeing how her recent posts have attracted a good amount of views think a few others may be in agreement with me. That's good if you do because expect many more posts of her coming up, few more things to get caught up for this year plus will go back a bit in time to post some of her older things.
As you may know have really been enjoying Hyo-Joo's current drama "W", kind of surprised that it's her first drama since 2010. She has appeared in quite a few films since then, I have no clue but does an actress make more $$ being in a film versus a drama? "Cold Eyes" from 2013 is one her best films, viewed it two years ago but kind of forgetting it so will watch it again very soon and do a post or two about it.
Today have three promo events that have taken place this year, Hyo-joo appears at many of them so should have a few more posts for them. Will be working backwards, newest to oldest, her latest film is titled "Love, Lies" which came out in April and here's pics from it's first screening on March 15th.
Hyo-Joo has done quite a few things for Burberry over the last few years and will be working on getting a few of them for you soon. On March 3rd she appeared at one of their Seoul stores for the release of the new brand 'Art of the Trench'.
Haven't viewed her "The Beauty Inside" film yet but it's on the 'to watch list', looks to be an interesting movie. The film was released in Korea last August but it didn't come out in Japan until January 22nd. Pics here are of Hyo-Joo at it's screening there on January 14th plus after them you can view the movie's trailer.
I don't think they make any more doing movies (may actually make less), but there's two main reasons why some actors/actresses stay away from dramas in Korea and mainly do films: 1) the drama filming environment is a disaster (I'm sure you've read about the extremely long shoots and the live shooting they do) and 2) like everywhere else in the world, movies are more regarded than TV shows.
ReplyDeleteI plan to watch W once I finally finish my stupid CPA exams and have free time again.
the Beauty inside is such a great film
