Rurika Yokoyama: A little of this and that #1

 If this Santa wants to come down my chimney this X-Mas then I'm going to be a very, very good boy.... gulp!

On occasion I'm amazed on some of my huge faves that I've neglected to post about, omitting her up until now shocks me to no end. Sigh, if this continues then my blogger license may need to be revoked.

 Rurika has been a big fave of mine for at least four years, have also been a fan of her former J-Pop group Idoling!. Sadly they disbanded about a year ago but they had been around for a decade, they were a somewhat popular group so it was surprising they broke up. Most of their singles reached the top ten and sold fairly well, perhaps it was a management decision. They had a greatest hits album last year titled "Single Collectiongu!" which had 30 songs, highly recommend it. There were also a few other members who deserve some posts so will be working on that and perhaps also a few posts for the group.

 Today though we're here for Rurika, have enough things for about twenty posts but will spread them out a bit. She's another Idol who is a bit older, maybe that's why there's been so many recent posts for Idols as most of the posts are for ones 25 or older. Rurika isn't that age yet but will celebrate #25 on September 27th, will space those twenty posts out between now and her birthday.
 To start off will have a bunch of these 'A little of this and that' posts, kind of like doing various things for a post which is what we have today. So far just one mag spread has been released this year, let's keep our fingers crossed there's a few more on their way like this spread from WPB #28.

 One upcoming thing will be Rurika's "430" days photobook, title was the amount of time between her first and second PB and here's a few pics from it.

 Though Idoling! was together until 2015 most members released solo singles during their reign, Rurika had five solo singles and one since the group broke up. Her first single was titled "Walk My Way" and was released on June 19, 2013. It's first week it sold close to 13,000 copies and hit the number twelve spot on the charts which was a respectable showing, here are the covers for the single along with a few pics from a promo event for the song. Don't know why but the PV wasn't on YT but here's a video of that event.
