Two more months until Haruka's graduation, though it saddens many fans I'm glad she's leaving. She does have the center position for AKB's 46th single but besides that she doesn't participate in too many group activities these days. Seems like the last two years most of the time when she's at an event it's for a solo project such as her two horror films she's had the lead role in.
Haruka will continue on as an actress and I think she's one of the few Idols who can make it in the acting profession. She's done a solid job in everything I've seen her in, shame not many have been subbed. What I really hope gets subbed is her current drama "Keishichou Nasi Goreng Ka", skimmed through the first show and it looks to be an interesting, quirky late night show.
Haruka has had the lead role in a few of the seasons of "Majisuka Gakuen". I watched the first four seasons but passed on the fifth, have lost too much interest in AKB except for a few members. Did recap that fourth season and it was a solid watch, especially Haruka as 'Salt' in the show and you wouldn't want to mess with her. One thing that was never posted here until now was some of the scans from the photobook from that season so here's the 'Salt' pics from it.
Haruka's graduation concert is scheduled for December 26th, she'll probably be taking a well deserved breather after that as she isn't scheduled for any upcoming 2017 dramas or films yet. Have many new mag spreads for today but sadly except for this first one all are just way too small. First set is features a terrific set of Haruka pics from Weekly Shonen Champion #48.
The rest of the spreads are sadly not as big as the above one but Haruka does look A-OK in all of the pics which are promoting the new drama. First pic is from TV Fan while the other two are from TV Navi, both are from the December issues.
Last set of Haruka pics is from the December issue of BLT. After them is a short promo video for the new drama which she has the lead role in.
