Nogizaka46: The 'Nanami Hashimoto post' #74- Graduation concert pics and video
Nanami announced she'll be hosting the 'Girls Locks!' show all week, those above are from Monday's show. Usually it's done live but because of her graduation concert she taped it last Friday. Will be back at the end of the week with all of the pics from the shows plus some translations, Thursday is her final show so she may have a lot to say.
Still think this is the real reason for Nanami graduating.... pro bowler to be????đ
Also yesterday Nanami's second photobook was released, it's going by the simple title of "2017". No word if she'll be holding an event for it but really can't see why she wouldn't.
Haven't viewed the concert so can't make any comments about it, then again the only ones who did see it were the 35,000 fans in attendance. The Saitama Super Arena usually holds 30,000 for their concerts but the demand was so high they added in 5,000 more seats which were sadly behind the main stage. But at the bottom of the post you can check out a bit of footage from the show as there's a four minute video from I think the 'ZIP' from the concert.
Wonder if this concert will ever see the light of day on DVD? Didn't happen for Mai's graduation concert from last June. With Nogi perhaps being the most popular J-Pop group in Japan right now and with all of these photobooks coming out why hasn't there been any DVD's of concerts? Last one to be released was in December 2015 and that was for the group's 3rd Birthday concert, doesn't make any sense to me or their fans for the lack of DVD's.
On to the show and won't make many comments about it seeing as how I haven't seen it. Quite a long concert as the group performed 39(!) songs, must have been at least a five hour show with all of the tributes and besides Nanami Marika also had her b-day yesterday and they didn't forget about her.
As you can see in the bottom pic Mai was a bit broken up, she did a tribute which will probably leave us all in tears if we get the chance to view it. Not many pics from the show were released, all of the main sites have the same pics. The show ended with Nanami leading the group singing the "Sayonara no Imi" single which was her only time as a center for a single.
But Nanami was the center for many other songs at the concert such as "Girls Rule" plus I think "Baretta". Nanami did make an appearance on last Sunday's "Nogi Under Construction", her final appearance on the show. Watched it but going to wait to see if subs come out for it before I post about the show.
As I mentioned a few days ago we may not miss Nanami for a while, probably not until the next single and then it will hit us that she's no longer there. Won't be the end for her here though as there's things I've been holding back and perhaps there will be a few other happenings such as more mag spreads or an event for her new PB. These are all of the pics that are available for the show to date and also remember to check out that video after them that's from the concert.
