Hate the way she's always so blunt around here but she's dead on with that thought, sure a blog devoted just to her would be the most popular on the web these days. Mai's second photobook "Passport" just keeps on selling beyond belief, this week it once again topped the Oricon charts selling a little over 5,200 copies. That brings the overall total to 186,000+ so they may need to once again print extra copies as so far 200,000 books have been printed.
With pics like that it's easy to see why so many books have been sold but selling close to 200,000 was probably a figure no one thought would be reached. It had been over two years since Mai's first PB had been released, there will be no gap like that for book #3 and wouldn't be surprised if we see that within a year.
On to some new pics and there's a slew of them today, think about fifty or more. First off are some recent Nogi cards for Mai which hadn't been posted yet, actually all of these mag spreads and video are new for here.
These first two mag spreads are simply beyond perfect, there really are no more adjectives left to use for Mai. This breathtaking set is from the May 3rd issue of Anan.
Whew, if your heart was able to take the above pics have somehow an even more perfect set of Mai pics from the May 12th issue of Friday. Looks like these are outtakes from the photobook, how can jaw-dropping pics like these be considered outtakes?!
That second to last pic is truly too good to be true. Much more conservative set of Mai pics here from the June edition of Ray, she's been an exclusive model for them since 2014.
Mai will be featured in the upcoming Spring/Summer collection for Cecil McBee. Have two promo pics from the site along with some behind the scenes ones from the photo shoot. After all of them you can view a short promo video for the collection. On an added note she'll be representing them at the next 'Girls Awards' show, many Nogi members will be taking their turns on the catwalk and that event is coming up at the end of May.
