Mina Oba: Magazine scans #15

 Really glad to see Mina is still around, a while ago had this feeling that she may be graduating this year. That still may happen but it wouldn't be for many more months. One reason for thinking that way is that Mina decided to to partake in this year's AKB Senbatsu Elections, she had slowly moved up in position the last few years. Actually not participating in the elections has become very common these days as so many popular members such as Yuki also withdrew their names.

 Also been wondering what's up with SKE, they haven't released a single since last August and only a total of four in 2015-16. The group did release their second greatest hits album earlier this year but can't ever recall a '48' group that's gone ten months between singles.
 On to more Mina and on May 11th she was at an event for SKE's mini book "100% SKE48 volume 3", At the event she was joined by her mates Nao who has a few posts here and she's someone I've always liked. The third member was Kanon who i thought had some posts here but just checked and that's not the case, perhaps I'll have to work on a few for her.

 As far as photobooks go Mina is the one person I've always said deserves one, she's now 25 so looks as though that's sadly not going to happen. As a matter of fact the '48' groups in all have had very few books the last few years. Kanon mentioned that at the event and said that Nogi has eclipsed them in a way, Nogi has eclipsed almost all groups except they still can't beat AKB in single's sales.  For a few years said that Miyuki had the best spreads for any Idol but since graduating from NMB last year we haven't seen her in even one magazine. That means Mina will take over the top spot, just wish she appeared in many more of them. Young Gangan is the mag she's been in the most but no spreads for them since February, hope that means there's a slew of them coming up. Superb set of pics here are from the June edition of Entame and it's a shame the spread wasn't much bigger.

 Think last year Mina finished 13th on my fave's list, she'll probably make this year's top twenty though if she was busier it would guarantee a top ten position.
