Not a huge amount of recent happenings but Rena is so popular here I try to post about her as soon as possible. It's also a heads up as I expect July to be an extremely busy month for her. Rena will be turning twenty on July 27th, on that date her second photobook will be released. Her first one from March 2016 was of course terrific but have a feeling this one is going to be amazing.
That's the only promo out for it, news of the PB just came out a few days ago and it's being put out by the Young Jump magazine. Rena has appeared in their issues more than any other mag and she certainly has been in many of them. Hoping because of that book coming out we'll be seeing her in more mags than ever this next month to promote it. The book has no official title yet, least for now at the ordering sites it's called 'Second Photobook' which isn't all that original.
Also coming up will be Rena's first starring role in a drama, she has the co-lead in the series "Maji de Koukai Shitemasu". It'll be starting this Sunday which is July 2nd on MBS, TBS will also be airing the episodes two days later. Expect that there will be a promo event for it this week so will have more info then as I'll be doing a post for the event.
Rena does a fairly good job with her 'Line Blog', not an entry every day but usually 3-4 a week. These are some pics she's posted for June. Top two are of her visiting a Gram Pancake shop as she's done many CM's for them this last year.
Have two smallish spreads for today but Rena as usual looks fabulous in the pics. This first one is from the June 20th edition of Weekly Ascii, second week in a row she's been their cover girl.
Rena also has the cover for the July 10th issue of Big Comic Spirits. Hard to believe but it's the first time she's ever appeared in that mag and bet it won't be her last time either. After them is a behind the scenes video of the photo shoot, really hoping it'll stay up for a while.
