Way too few recent happenings for Kasumi but that's mainly to do with her current asadora "Hiyokko". Those series are quite long as they last for six months with six shows airing a week, when you're the star of the show there's not much time for other activities. That show will be ending in September, Kasumi does have two films coming out later this year but would think she deserves a long break when the drama ends.
The first of the two films will be released on August 26th and is titled "Sekigahara". Haven't heard anything about the film yet but sure we will next month, have some info on the other movie at the bottom of the post. Not too many recent mag spreads either though Kasumi does look superb in the pics and much more grown up. Can remember her when she first started out in the 'SPEC' drama back in 2010, she's certainly come a long ways. First of two spreads is from the May issue of Mini.
Sadly there's just one more recent spread which is from the May edition of Steady.
On July 3rd a super duper looking Kasumi was at a press conference for the 'Layton's Mystery Journey Millionaire's Conspiracy' game. It's part of the Renton series and to be honest have no clue about the game but know it's a bit popular. In it she voices the character of the heroine Katary. The game isn't coming out until July 20th but Kasumi and the two other main voice actors who you should know tried their hand at the game with so-so results. No video of the event but that's okay as we have plenty of fabulous pics of Kasumi here from it.
"Narratage" is the title of Kasumi's other film coming out this year, release date for it is October 7th. Was just at the film's website but there's hardly anything there except for the trailer which you can view after these pics from the set. The movie is about a college professor who once taught at high school and at the time had feelings for one of his students who was Kasumi, he's trying to hook up with her and it could be the start of a mysterious relationship.
