Keyakizaka46: "Masshirona Mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru" album news....
Though I've posted the above pic a few times and many others for the 'Aozora no MARRY' subgroup never put two and two together until yesterday. The 'MARRY' name is taken from the first letters of the five members first names, can't believe how that flew over my head. Least none of the quintuple knew that fact or they'd be rolling in the aisles with laughter.
Hmmmm, there's one member who may not be getting any more solo posts!!!! 😈
Keya's first album was released today or perhaps yesterday depending on where you live. First day sales were 185,000 copies sold, unsure if that's a good figure or not but some fans seem to think they were going to sell more. That number is mainly for pre-orders so there's a good chance of hitting
225-250,000 in it's first week. Personally I like how there's so many new songs, kind of tired how most group's albums are mainly just a 'greatest hits' package.
Most J-Pop fans though tend to like those 'greatest hits' albums, don't know why if you've already bought the singles. There's sixteen new songs on the album and will be playing it this weekend, there's a total of forty songs on the album.
Hard not comparing Keya to Nogi whose first album was "Toumei na Iro". That came out after the group had released ten singles, there weren't that many new tunes on the album. First weeks sales for 'Toumei' were 222,000 copies sold, overall the figure is around 320,000. Those numbers seem to be within reach for Keya and actually would be surprised if they didn't top those sales marks.
On to some A++++ pics that were included with the album which was released in three versions. Every member is represented here, even 'Hiragana Keyaki'. Looks like the pics were taken in a factory, think only Keya would do something like that. All of the pics are superb as no member really outshines anyone else.
