Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Tsubasa Honda: Some recent happenings #1....
Tsubasa finished seventh last year on my 'Top Twenty Faves' list, previous year she was sixth and there were just three women who were in the top ten two years in a row. But this is her first post for 2017 and can't give a reason why that's happened as there's been plenty of things to post about, especially the last two months. It's not that I stopped liking her but for some reason she kind of fell out of my favor for a while, things like that happen on occasion.
But if you're a fan and she does seem to have many here then you'll be pleased to know she's back in my favor and she should have been all along. There are so many happenings for 2017 to post about and didn't know where to start so this will probably be the first of 3-4 posts I'll have for Tsubasa in the next week or so.
That pic above is from last week as Tsubasa was promoting her new CM's for Dragon Quest. Will have the pics in her next post as the CM's aren't scheduled to come out until tomorrow.
On July 7th Tsubasa was in Paris for this year's 'Japan Expo'. At the event they had the first screening for the anime film "Fullmetal Alchemist", it's not going to be officially released until December 1st. In the film Tsubasa does the voice of Winry and it's expected to be a huge hit.
Yesterday Tsubasa was at another event which was for a special NHK program that will be airing August 14th to the 18th titled "Philosophy for Children". It's going to be another voice role for her as she's going to be doing many characters in the show.
Have two mag spreads though there are many more, will try to space the out for her future posts. First set is from the June edition of 25ans.
Tsubasa has been an exclusive model for the Non-no magazine seemingly forever and her spreads though conservative are always superb. Pics here are from their June issue.
Non-no also has an Instagram site which has so many thousands of pics. Tsubasa has too many pics there to count, these are a few recent ones and will have many more coming up. No promo video for their June or July issues but do have one following the pics for August.
