Nana Asakawa: 2017 Magazine scans #4 and much more....
Super Girls are much popular than I thought, today's single is "Rabusama!!!!" and it reached #2 on the Oricon charts. The song was released on August 31, 2016 and above is the group doing it live at a July performance. The group has had three singles reach that position but have had zero chart toppers to date, they're still very big so it could happen one of these days.
Though there's only two recent mag spreads this is going to be one huge post as there are also many activities for July. This catches us up with Nana's mag spreads for this year, have only had her mag appearances since June but it still ended up being a large number of them. Don't know who it will be yet but will have some more Super Girls members coming up soon.
On with the mag spreads first and bet Nana has had the cover for 80% of the mags she's appeared in. First set of today is from the July 18th edition of Manga Action.
Second spread is way too small and is from WPB #34-35.
One may not think it with the way Nana looks but she is becoming a popular actress and has had the lead role or a huge one in many films, she's also been in a few dramas along with being in one stage play. Nana was in the 2016 film "14 That Night" which was set back in the 1980's. She had a large role in the movie which was released on DVD July 12th. Here's some pics she did for it's release with Tokyo Popline and the top two are a pair of stills from the film.
On July 11th which was one day before the DVD was officially released Nana was at a promo event for it where you could purchase the film a day early. The event took place at the Ryokan Book Tower in Shibuya and here are a few pics from it.
Nana had the lead role in a new film that came out in July 15th titled "The Werewolf Game: Mad Land". It's a survival type of movie where students were locked in a room, the survivor would win 100 million yen. Japan has so many of those kinds of films where you need to kill everyone to survive, most I've viewed have been fairly good. These pics here are from a pair of interviews she did for the movie, top five are with TV Life while the rest are from Walker Plus.
Nana's character name in the film was Moe, she's the heroine but having not seen it don't know if she was the sole survivor or how it ended. These are a few promo stills for the movie.
On July 15th the movie had it's premiere at the Cinemart in Shinjuku. Nana was dressed a bit conservatively but have noticed she does at most events she appears at, her mag spreads are the only ones where she gets so provocative. Plenty of pics here for the premiere but strangely couldn't find a video of it so following the pics is the film's trailer, looks to be an okay movie.
