C-ute: Few older artifacts....

Still a few missed C-ute singles for their 'singles series' and the one for today is one of the group's lesser known hits. "Momoiro Sparkling" was released on May 25, 2011 and it was a popular tune as it reached #6 on the charts. But it's one I don't don't know too well as even though I have ten C-ute concerts on DVD it doesn't appear on any of them.... oooops, wrong on that as it's on their final concert DVD and guess that means I'll have to view it again this weekend.

Though the group is officially disbanded hoping we'll be seeing some C-ute members promoting some of their new products. Two concert DVD's have been recently released along with their final photobook and there's still going to be a 2018 calendar, be nice to see a few of them together again. Speaking of calendars here's a pair that'll look good on your desktop for October.

It's not going to be a regular feature but would like to have a few more of these oldies posts for the group as I really enjoy posting about them and know they'll always be my #1 J-Pop group of all time. Not many different things for today but they do total up to be about seventy pics pics along with two videos. Many years are covered too as the single above is from 2011 with these pics here being from 2014. And those pics are cards as I don't think it's possible to have a C-ute post without some, order of the members as it always is features Maimi, Saki, Airi, Chisato and Mai.

Magazine spreads for the members were severely lacking during their time together and it's a mystery why as most of them were beyond superb. Have two older ones for today and both are fairly big with this first set being from GTV #35 which came out in August 2014. Maimi really looks out of this world in these pics with Saki not being too far behind her.

Second spread is from volume three of Sugar and Spice which came out in December 2012 and was promoting their second greatest hits album.

Title of the second greatest hits album was "2 C-ute Shin Seinaru Best". It sold well compared to most of their albums as it reached the sixth position on the charts selling close to 20,000 copies in it's first week out. Release date of it was November 21, 2012. After two of the covers is a video of the photo shoot for the covers along with some mini interviews and it's a highly recommended watch.
