Keyakizaka46: 'Uniform Museum' event pics and video

It usually happens this way in the world of J-Pop, you go so long without hearing too much from a group and then when a single is about to be released they're everywhere. That hasn't always been the case for Keya who have been one of the busier groups though for almost a two month stretch we heard very little from them.

Those are pics from Keya's first uniform store, but to be more precise it's classified as a museum. You can rent a uniform out and wear them to special occasions but not sure what kind of events, perhaps a woman could use them as a wedding dress? Hmmmm, actually it may look cool if her maids of honor all wore one of them. They also come in male sizes and surprisingly they did fit well, kind of favor the third single uniform.

The museum had it's grand opening today which is the 24th, it'll remain open until the 30th. It's located on Takeshita Dou Street in Harajuku and even though the museum is only open for a week there is a store in that area where you can still rent out their uniforms, may be the same store as Nogi's who have uniform rentals too. The museum is also sponsored by XYLITOL which is a Lotte product celebrating their 20th anniversary, and the gals were promoting their gum.
Six members were at today's event and five are ones we always see at these kinds of gatherings. The new gal was Shiori, we never see enough of her but she is one cutie. The reason she was there is that she designed the uniform she's wearing, Shiori is a college student studying design. The other five members wore the uniforms for Keya's first five singles, fifth one will be released tomorrow.
All the uniforms look good but can't say I'm a huge fan of their fifth one which is the black suit. Plain works well for me as Rika looks mighty fine as she's wearing the uniform from the "Silent Majority" single. Number one for me was for the third single and Akane is wearing that uniform, that spin move of hers has just made the temperature rise twenty degrees. Huge amount of pics from today's event and there's also a video of it following them. There's a total of four videos which add up to be over thirty minutes, you can view them if you watch it on YT.
