Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Rena Takeda: Many recent happenings....

Been a while since the last Rena post and she's close to being the most popular gal here, over fifty new pics today to keep all of her many fans happy. Rena has really been working hard on her acting career, she's been in three dramas this year with a fourth starting up in November and she's also appeared in the same amount of films.
Only drama I've seen of Rena's this year was "Million Yen Women" which was a decent show and thought she did okay in the series as a billionaire high school student. Have some new pics here to start us off from Rena's Line Blog which she does a solid job at keeping updated. The first five pics are from the photo shoot for her first DVD.

Haven't been nearly as many Rena mag spreads as year's past, think she spoiled us for so long with her too many to count appearances. All of them were superb and the two today can be classified that way too, first set is from the October 3rd issue of Flash.

Those pics above are promoting the new DVD and the pics in this set also are. Second and final spread today has Rena gracing the cover for the October 11th edition of Weekly Shonen.

Surprisingly Rena's new DVD that came out on September 20th is her first one but bet there will be many more to follow. Here's the cover here for it along with a few screenshots, as you can see it was put out by Young Jump and Rena has done so many spreads for the mag.

On October 14th Rena held a promo event for the DVD at the HMV Bookstore in Shibuya. The video was shot in Guam as wasn't her second photobok so this may be considered a behind the scenes video for the PB. Two versions were released, a regular DVD but the Blue-Ray has an extra 29 minutes on it which may be worth the price seeing as how those above pics definitely make your blood boil. Pics of Rena here are from Sunday's event and following them is a video of it.
