Keyakizaka46: 2018 Magazine scans #8 and more....
Huge change in plans for Keya's upcoming Budokan concerts which were scheduled for the end of January. There were going to be three shows, the first was going to feature just the Hiragana members. The final two days would be with Kanji but now Hiragana will be performing at all three shows while the Kanji members will just be watching. 😭
Yurina has hurt her arm badly and was told by the doctors to take at least a month off from performing. Not sure when the injury occurred but possibly at the Kohaku show on December 31st. There's 21 other Kanji members so don't know why the shows couldn't go on, another member easily could have sang her parts. Does happen quite often in J-Pop groups when a member is too ill to perform and the other members sing that absent person's lines.
Least the Hiragana gals will get more of a turn in the spotlight which is a positive. But then again if you had bought tickets to see Kanji it's a big letdown, not a wise decision by management as it seems they don't have faith in the other 21 members who are fully capable of putting on an entertaining show. Still two weeks to go before the three shows so let's see if Keya's managers wise up and let the other Kanji members perform the two concerts or at least one. Yurina has some sort of problems with her triceps which require treatment, however she was able to host this week's 'Girls Locks!' show and in a few of the pics you can see her with a cast on.
Neru's first photobook keeps selling well, after being in the second spot last week she took the top position again on this week's chart. To date her PB has sold close to 130,000 copies, what a disappointment then for Keya fans who wanted to see her in concert. Rika's first book has also been a very impressive seller as it's beaten all of the five Nogi photobooks that have come out in the last two months in sales. She was seventh on the charts this week and her PB has sold 55,500 copies. Bottom two pics are from the PB and have never posted them here yet.
First off aren't mag spread pics but instead from the With Online site. Seems the mag has now signed four(!) members to be models for them and we'll be seeing the quartet in future mags, really glad to see Manaka as an exclusive model as she's really one underrated beauty.
Back to Rika and she has the honor of having the first spread though there's only three for today. This beyond fabulous set of pics are from volume 27 of BLT Graph.
There will be a one day break between the second and third concerts but Hiragana will be quite bushed if they have to do three solo shows in four days. Personally wouldn't doubt if their concerts would be better than Kanji's, to me Nogi's Undergirls are more entertaining in concert than the Senbatsu members. The second spread features a foursome of Hiragana gals who are in order by their solo pics Shiho, Kyoko, Mirei and Mana.... these are from the February issue of Fine Boys. Was just thinking(a rarity) and that's why couldn't Neru join Hiragana in concert? She was a member for so long with them and that way not as many fans would be disappointed.
Final spread is another ultra impressive of pics from the January 29th edition of Weekly Shonen. Been seeing much more of Yui K. lately which is a good thing.... if we've been seeing so much more of the members lately how come they're not allowed to perform their own concerts? 😠 Second member is Risa who is blossoming so brilliantly, will say again I'd love to see her have a PB.
So for the concerts, there won't even be any units like 'MARRY', 'Goninbayashi' and all that there? That's a shame. Seems like a pain tho with their choreography if Kanji were to perform and cover Yurina's moves. Was thinking what if a Hira member were to cover Yurina's moves. One each so let's say Mao for Fukyouwaon(...haha) and Kumi for Saison coz pretty sure they did practice for all songs during their training days and probably different parts so thought it'll all be goody good except for fan response to others being in the center position. Looks like they're low-key hyping things up for a Kanji concert tho but back to the pics, had a lil peek at With Online and so far their style is pretty neat and with Mizuho & Akane there(ofc the other 2 too)👍
ReplyDeleteOver the years Nogi has had many key members miss concerts and there was no problem. For the group's 2016 Summer tour Nanami was ill and had to miss five or so concerts, Miria stepped up and took her place rather easily. Also Erika has missed many shows because of her acting in stage plays, Yuuri was the one who replaced her on most occasions.
ReplyDeleteSure the other Kanji members could have adapted quite well without Yurina there as they're all talented enough. So does that mean if she leaves the group or is sick for an extended period of time Keya can never perform in concert?
It's sure looking that way atm. Even for TV performances, I remember seeing Hina.H covering for someone in one of the recent singles. A member taking a arrow in the knee means everybody has gotta stop sounds like a load of bollocks so I'm tellin ya m8, they're teasing ppl tryna rile them up for a Kanji concert which means!...mone-Mizuho will be there. Who knows, we might be in for a surprise on the last day of the concert.
ReplyDeleteCan remember Hina filling in and also recall Kana doing that too. It's not Yurina's fault as I'm sure she would want the other members to perform. But those members can't be feeling too well about their situation right now and can't blame them as management as basically told them you're not good enough without the main star. Sure their confidence level can't be too high at the moment, bet there's a few other J-Pop groups which would love to have them join them. That's something I would ponder if I was in their shoes and an offer came my way.
