Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mayu Matsuoka: "Katte ni Furuetero" movie promo event pics and video

Mayu's last 'monumental' post has certainly been popular as it's been the fifth most viewed post for the past month. Kind of shocking to me but it's also a pleasant surprise to see she has so many fans out there, Mayu to me is one of the top 3-4 Japanese actresses and I try to view most things she's in. Unfortunately her "Katte ni Furuetero" film won't be available to watch for a long time as it was just released on December 23rd, that film is at the top of my list to view.

This is going to be one of the smaller posts I do as there's just the one event, there's been no other news since her last post two weeks ago. But should be hearing more from Mayu very soon as her next film "Blank 13' is coming out on February 3rd, she has the lead female role in the movie.
"Katte ni Furuetero" appears to have been a minor hit as on Thursday there was a 'thank you fans' event for the movie. The occasion took place at the Human Trust Cinemas in Shibuya, Mayu along with one other cast member and the director were on hand to thank the fans who viewed the film. Many pics here from the event and after them there's also a video that's worth a watch.
