Nogizaka46: A little of this and that for 2018 #1....
The Undergirls first and perhaps only album was released two days ago and the title of it is "Boku Dake no Kimi: Under Super Best". It's a fine collection of tunes as the there's 26 of them in all but the slightly disappointing part is that there were only four new songs, the others were already on the group's previous singles and albums.
That didn't stop the fans from scooping up the album as on day one it hit #1 on the Oricon charts selling a little over 60,000 copies which I think was more than expected. The now departed Himeka has a solo song on it titled "Jibun no Koto" and she will be missed. All of their songs to date have been good but none of them top "13-nichi no Kinyoubi" which may be Nogi's most entertaining PV. At the top is s short promo video for the album along with some of the insert pics.
The super duper version also has a pair of DVD's, one live and the other of PV's. Of the four Nogi photobooks that came out in a five week stretch starting on November 7th just one has remained a consistent seller. All hit #1 on the charts but Miona's PB has been the best seller by far, last week it was the seventh on the chart and sales are at 56,2000 copies sold. Think I'll be doing a post soon for her 2017 cards with all of them in one post. Have some new cards for here starting from the 'Itsuka' single with the bottom trio being for New Years.
Also am hoping to have a Nanase solo post in the next day or so. Her new drama 'Video Girl Ai 2018" begins tomorrow night on TV Tokyo, haven't heard if it'll happen but was wishing there would be an event for it and seems the nurse is ready to attend to her swooning fans if there is one....
Even more New Years cards featuring the trio of Erika, Mai and Nanase.
To be honest haven't been watching any of Nogi's 'Construction' show lately as drama viewing takes up too much of my time but are there any recent shows that stand out? The next Nogi graduation is for Marika and think the date of it will be February 20th which is her 22nd birthday. One site listed her graduation date as December 23rd but heard she'll be at Nogi's sixth birthday concert(s) which take place right around February 20th.
Marika's blog is still active though she hasn't made an entry since December 23rd. In it she did say a handshaking event that day in Sendai was her last group activity but think there would be an event for her first PB which will be released on her birthday and also Marika does deserve a farewell concert. Himeka's graduation was sort of like that as she disappeared too quietly and had no official send off. On to a few mag spreads and Marika has the first one which is from WPB #3-4, should be more news about her February activities so will keep fans updated on them.
Keya has been blowing the doors off Nogi lately with the amount of mag spreads they've appeared in but in all likelihood Nogi should overtake them by the end of the year. Second set is a group one in which they also had two covers and is from the February edition of BLT.
Final set features the pair of Asuka and Miona who we've seen together on occasion and they look mighty oki doki as a pair. This spread is from a special Flash issue titled 'Best of Winter 2018'.
Besides the potential upcoming February 20th graduation that was also the 2017 date of Nanami's departure from Nogi. Though I'm naturally still a big fan will admit not as huge as Nanami was my fave member and perhaps #1 Idol from the past 3-4 years. Have posted so many thousands of pics of her but there are plenty more that have escaped me so will work on a we miss you tribute series of posts for her 25th b-day.
I'm gonna take 'recent' as a 5 ep span so their latest ep for 'under construction' was a 60min special(#137) which I thought it was pretty good(well it was better than the 5 previous eps).
ReplyDeleteIt's a battle of 6 little groups that were talked about in an ep that's somewhere idk where and it's a tournament style face-off between the groups to determine who's the best. The only thing I thought that was crap about it was how they placed spoilers during the show.
Oki doki but think first I'll watch episode 13(the prequel) of "Re:Mind" which has just been subbed, haven't been viewing any Keya shows recently either.
ReplyDeleteAh, thought you watched it already...when I saw it I was left in quite a pickle.
