Rina Kawaei: Some recent happenings....

We'll never see Rina do any more gravure spreads which is a shame as she looks so terrific to me, she never really did too many though when she was in AKB. Since the first time I saw Rina she was one of my faves from AKB  and she's easily in my top ten, she may have moved up a position or two these past few years.
Rina has kept quite busy since her graduation but most of activities haven't been ones that would make for interesting posts but have noticed that's been changing recently. Hoping to have another post for her soon as she's the cover girl for the next issue of BLT Graph. That first pic is a promo one for last Autumn's 'Death Note' movie, had forgotten she was in it so will need to view it. The CM at the very top is for Rakuten and more info on it at the bottom of the post.

Rina has been one of the busiest actresses the last two or so years though usually doesn't have a major role. But patience pays off as her last few parts have been very big and she'll have her first lead role in a film that is "Koi no Shizuku" which will be released in the Autumn. Rina also has a huge role in the new film "Principal", like so many films it was inspired by a manga. The movie had it's premiere on March 3rd at the Baltic 9 in Shinjuku, pics here are from it.

Rina did a January 17th interview with Oricon for the film and a new CM for au.

Did do a semi post for Rina back in January that was for the premiere of the "Uso wo Aisuru Onna" film, she'll be in at least three movies this year. Pics here are from her Ameba blog, top one is from February 12th as on that date Rina celebrated her 23rd b-day.

Very few Rina mag spreads these days, have one new one along with this older set where she looks quite oki doki to me and is from the September 21st edition of Tokyo Walker Plus.

This set is a new one from the February 20th Flash and it's promoting her latest au CM.

Today, which is still March 5th for me, Rina was at a press conference for Rakuten, it was also promoting the CM at the top. It's for a new app from the company called 'Rakuma' which is a
tie-in with a previous app of theirs called 'Frill'. Don't know the exact details as that's something I don't have but you may understand it watching the CM. Plenty of pics here from the event followed by a video for it.
