Ayami Nakajo: Another one who was way overdue for a post....
Have too many faves and not enough time these days to post about all of them. Been on a good streak the past two weeks as perhaps 3/4 of the posts have been for actresses or dramas, except for a handful am a bit tired of the current idol scene. Been many months since the last Ayami post and she's one who definitely deserves many more of them.
She won't be turning 22 until next February and being a bit young is one reason for her not having many posts here. But also Ayami hasn't been in many dramas or films recently, zero dramas but she is in two films this year. One came out two weeks ago and will be getting to that later on in the post. She has the lead role in that film along with another one that will be released in December titled "Nise-Koi" and hopefully that'll mean a few more posts this year for her.
Have always liked the way Ayami looks, so much different than most other actresses or models. She's one in demand model these days and actually you can say that about her for the past three or so years. Ayami is an exclusive model for a few mags, one of them is Cancam and these are some pics from their site. Next post which may be soon will have some of her 2018 spreads for them.
These are some pics from the GU Spring/Summer collection, new ones came out this week for their Autumn collection so her next post may be sooner than I thought.
Here's one other recent set of pics from the Vogue Girl website, third pic down at the top is another one from their site.
Ayami does appear in many mags but won't be going back too far with them today but do have a pair of smaller ones such as this set from the July issue of 25ans.
She graces the cover for another small spread which is from the September 18th SPA!.
Ayami doesn't appear in too many dramas or films but when she does she usually has the lead in it. Her current film which was released on September 14th is titled "3-D Real Girl", at the top of the post is the trailer for it. Ayami did quite a few web interviews for the film and this fine set of pics is from the Woman Type site.
The film is a quirky and romantic teen one, hope it's the last one Ayami does in that genre as she's only 4+ months away from turning 22 which happens on February 4th. The first two weeks of that month has the birthday of so many of my faves, so many that I could do a top ten list for them and three from that period of time made my 'Top Twenty Faves" list. The film opened on September 14th but the premiere wasn't held until the next day which took place at the Piccadilly in Shinjuku.
The film didn't make the top ten at the box office in it's first two weeks out but yesterday there was a special celebration for it at the 109 Cinemas in Tamagawa, Tokyo. As you can see it was also an early Halloween party and do have to admit that Ayami's never looked better(wow!). Plenty of pics here from the event plus after them check out a video of it. In the beginning you can see what a popular gal Ayami is with the female teens.
