Listed the characters this way for the "Re:Mind" drama and thought it's be a good idea to do it once again. Video at the top is a short promo one for this show.  Eight hands to go in the 'Two Card Indian Poker' game and the game does manage to come to a conclusion with an unexpected twist. So far the 'house pets' Yumeko and Mary have each won a hand but they need to keep it up as they're the two students with the biggest debts. We don't see many of the first four hands but no player seems to be winning or losing badly but as mentioned cheating among each others is legal in the game which comes into full force towards the end.
The school's biggest bully Kiwatari is in this game even though he has no debt, think it's because he's playing for a friend but also because he wishes to hurl more abuse on the three 'house pets'. To his left sits Tsubomi who he has bullied ruthlessly, he's also managed to convince her to cheat with him which is legal and their methods were finally deduced by Yumeko after seven rounds.

Even though it's just a two card hand flushes count with the highest hand being a pair. The way Tsubomi has been laying her card has been a hint to Kiwatari, when it's straight it's one suit, slightly to the left is a different suit and so on. What is does is help Kiwatari figure out how many of a suit is out there and he can bet accordingly, hasn't helped him out too much but the strategy and his threats have prevented Tsubomi from winning any hands.
Yumeko and Mary have become partners too as they communicate with their hands below the table. With the game drawing to a close it's important for them as both need to have some huge wins in the final three hands to escape their debts. And a few big wins is what takes place as first Yumeko and then Mary win huge pots against Kiwatari which sends him into rages worse than what we saw in the previous show but he's still in second place after nine of the ten hands.

My mind is kind of muddled as I'm writing five of these recaps in a row so hope the events are explained clear enough. As you can see above Yumeko is the leader with three hands to play though her debt coming in was 310 million yen, Mary's was close to 50 million. Meanwhile Kiwatari is becoming a bit anxious as he had nothing to win but everything to lose entering the game, if he finishes last he himself would become a 'house pet' and that's unthinkable to him.
Rounds eight and nine go to Yumeko and Mary leaving one hand to go, you'll soon find out that their amount of the money won or lost up until now isn't what it appears to be. Through the whole game Tsubomi has been totally silent, she never calls or raises a bet so after nine hands she's hasn't won one yet and looks like she'll remain a 'house pet'. That's because of the ruthless intimidation of Kiwatari who is making her life one not worth living but she refuses to open her mouth about it and sadly seems content to remain among the school's lowest type of people.

For the final hand Tsubomi has a pair of nines which is almost unbeatable. Kiwatari kept threatening her to fold so he could stay in second place but for the first time Tsubomi stood up to him and instead raised the bet to his dismay. Both Yumeko and Mary knew she had an excellent hand but called her bet as the pair had a strategy in the works. When the hands were revealed Tsubomi naturally won the hand with her pair of nines, that made her the game's biggest winner and for now it seems Kiwatari will remain second but at least he wouldn't become a 'house pet'.
That appeared to be the case until the moderator Sayaka announced the results. Tsubomi was still the overall winner and to our surprise Mary and Yumeko were second and third leaving Kiwatari in last place... with a debt of 310 million yen! How could this be he raged when the pair revealed their secret strategy. Before the game began Yumeko and Mary had switched their entry card along with their chips meaning they were actually playing with each others chips. So while Kiwatari thought he had many of Yumeko's chips worth 31 million yen he actually had Mary's chips that were worth only 5 million yen each.
That huge difference dropped what appeared to be a second place finish for him to last, now of all people he's now become a 'house pet' much to his incredible fury. He had been warned many times by Sayaka not to threaten violence, when it appeared he would strike Tsubomi she zapped him with a taser and justice was served. So the final outcome of the game was that Tsubomi and Mary finished in the top two spots, their debts were wiped clean and they were no longer 'house pets'. Yumeko though is still one but she seemed more pleased about helping the two others escape their debts, her ultimate goal is to play the president of the student council which is how I think the show will end off.

Slowly but surely we're getting to the end, three more of these recaps to go. Have seen that the "Dai Renai" is going to be subbed, the first show has and once a few more get done that will probably be the next drama that gets recapped. Do take a good number of screenshots for a 23 minute show so you can always view them to understand the story a bit better. Have done a some solo posts for a pair of the cast and do plan on hopefully having more for them and others too.
