Aqours: The 'Rikako Aida post' #4.....
This isn't becoming an Aqours or voice actress blog though the last three posts have been for new faves who are voice actresses. Have found they're so much more fun and interesting than regular
J-Pop Idols, think their songs also tend to be a bit better. Will be having many more posts for voice actresses though in the future and especially ones featuring the members of Aqours. They've become such a fave group of mine and in concert no current group puts on a more enjoyable show.
This is the first Rikako post in about four months but she's such a mega fave of many out there. Her first post that had her mini Young Jump photobook has been one of the most ten viewed posts of the year. She's been kind of quiet lately though so there hasn't been many things to post about, then again maybe she stepped aside for a while to let other Aqours members have a turn in the spotlight.
At the very top of the post is a new solo CM that Rikako did for 'Tane Zack', need to check if she has more of them or whether Aqours has done CM's as a group. Rikako does post more pics than any other member on her Instagram site though will admit I prefer actresses or Idols that have blogs, these pics are all from the past few weeks.
Aqours has their own 'Girls Locks' radio show which airs on Tokyo FM, their show is actually called 'Aqours Locks!'. All nine members take turns being the host and they usually have two members on each show, these are from Rikako's last two appearances.
Had been holding on to a pair of Rikako mag spreads and was hoping for more but sadly there haven't been any. Have those two after this set which is from the September edition of the voice actress magazine Seiyuu Animedia, all of the members had solo pages.
The two mag spreads I was holding on to are both from Young Jump. First set is from issue #21 and it was promoting Rikako's second mini photobook for them.
Oooops, as usual realized my math was off again as there are actually four mag spreads. Rikako has the cover for the second YJ set which is from their August 2nd edition.
The spread I almost overlooked was from the July 27th issue of Friday, Rikako looks so terrific how did I almost miss these?!
It appears Aqours has finally hit the big time as they were just selected with a very big honor. They'll be appearing on this year's NHK 'Kohaku' music show which airs on December 31st. That show only features the major music acts and it draws the highest ratings of any Japanese show by far. Pics here are from a press conference on November 14th where they announced the musical acts. No recent Aqours singles so after the pics have a live video of the group doing "Step! Zero to One".
