Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Rena Takeda: Pair of new mag spreads and slightly a bit more....

Hard to say who the most popular person is who has many posts here. Mai and Nanase from Nogi would be two obvious choices and they just may be the two biggest. However without looking at the stats my money would be on Rena, seems every viewer out there is such an immense fan of her. Least I can say she would be the most popular actress/gravure model who I post about regularly though this is her first post since September.

Rena has been in four dramas this year though it doesn't seem she's been as busy as she has in previous years, two of those series were mini ones. The drama I would like to view with Rena is "Way too Kawaii" which has one episode left. Don't think it's been subbed and that's such a shame as Maimi from C-ute is also in it.
As the title says have a pair of mag spreads but not much else, Rena has been an extremely busy gal the past 2-3 years so guess she's entitled to a mini break. For that "Way too Kawaii" drama she did an interview promoting it for 'The TV.jp' site on November 2nd.

One thing Rena does a solid job with is posting pics and info on her Line blog, these all from the past month or so.

On to the two Rena spreads, guess of all her activities this year she's cut back the most on appearing in mags and this first set is from the August 9th edition of Tokyo Walker. Did do a post back in September but it was for her mini Young Jump PB and had never posted these for some reason.

Least this final spread is well worth the price of admission. Rena has the cover for the first weekly 2019 issue I've seen and this fabulous set is from the January 1st Weekly Shonen. Unfortunately no recent event videos or CM's though she may be having an event for her new calendar.
