Little doubt that Erika has become everyone's new #1 around here, unbelievable how many views her last two solo posts have garnered. Her second PB was released on Tuesday and am very curious what the sales will be for this first week, would imagine well over 100 K. Read that it's had another reprinting to bring the total to 275,000 books printed, Mai holds the record for 314,000 books sold so looks like she may have a chance to top that mark. Pics I've seen from it are utterly amazing, these four for today are ones from the PB that hadn't been posted yet.
Don't those leave you a bit speechless? Hinako's first photobook has sold solidly too, it's been out for four weeks and to date has sold a bit over 47,000 copies. That's a good total as she is an Undergirl and doesn't get nearly as much exposure as the Senbatsu members. No new pics for her today but she will be on the cover of the next issue of Bubka, top two are encores from the PB. Oooops, forgot that there some new pics which are from a January 15th interview for Modelpress.
Have a few mag spreads for today but sadly none feature Miona. But do have some recent pics from her and wonder where she'll end up on the top twenty list, have all the details about it at the bottom of the post. Looks like she's now a model for the With magazine as these are all new ones from their site, bottom five are from the ar website but even though she's an exclusive model for them she hasn't been in their past two issues. That first ar pic is simply out of this world....
The group finally does have a new drama which is called "Zanbi", they also did a play of the same name. Do have the first episode, it just started airing and you would think it'll be subbed. Bit of a suspenseful show with Asuka having the lead role.
On to a few new mag spreads and for the second group post in a row Kotoko is in one. That's good as I've always liked her but just wish she would be a more vocal person. She's been an Undergirl for her entire Nogi career but the member joining her hasn't. That's Ranze who was a Senbatsu member for two singles and then got demoted, don't know why as she's a popular gal. The pair share this fine set of pics from the January issue of 20+ Sweet.
Sayuri I. had a photobook too as most know. It's sold well as total sales are over 50,000 but it just dropped out of the top ten this week. Think she was the last of the Senbatsu members to have a book or at least the ones that are from the first generation. This spread is from the February edition of Bubka and features outtake pics from the PB which was shot in Switzerland.
Last spread is quite a huge set which features just about every Nogi member. It's from WPB #5 and it appears to be a 'greatest hit's collection of pics.
Now it's time for a little discussion on the first ever 'Nogi/Keya Top Twenty Faves' list. Was working on the seeding and was going to start it on Monday. However am going to hold back a few weeks and you can blame that on one member. That's Kazumi who is such a huge fave of mine, in the two previous lists she finished second and third. But this past year she's been just so quiet and we've rarely seen her in mags or at events.
Because of that thought she would drop down to the 15th or so spot as it's a list of current faves and not an all time list. But news came out this week that Kazumi will be releasing her second PB at the end of February which is such fabulous news. I'm probably in the minority as I thought her first book was so underrated and to me may have been the best Nogi PB to date.... well, except for the new one from you-know-who! With that new book it'll mean she should be in many new mags and a Twitter account has also been set up for it. That'll probably mean her position will be moving way up which is why there will be that delay in starting the list plus do need more newer things for the Keya gals.
Pics for the book were shot in Finland and Nogi gals certainly have a thing for European countries. There have been two top ten Nogi lists so far, they were done in 2016 and 2017. That last list was kind of a quickie as there were only four posts done for it but that won't be the case for the upcoming one. Don't know if there's any viewers who remember but the member to top the last list was....
For the list not going to include Nanase, she 'officially' graduated on December 31st and no longer does Nogi activities though her final concert won't be until February 24th. Here's that last list that was done with two pics of everyone from positions ten to one. Number nine is also a graduate and it's kind of hard to find someone to take her place but there are plenty of Keya members that I like.
