Not as many posts recently but it has been a very busy first eleven days of the year so far. Been working on the first two recaps for the 'Missing' drama which is my biggest challenge to date as far as dramas go, that's been taking up a bit of time. Will be having those posts on Monday as this weekend calls for a few chugs of hops and barely. Also it's still a bit of a slow stretch for many of my bigger faves though have a feeling that'll be changing soon.
These days when I'm stuck for a post to do seems I can always rely on Nanase to come through and she's never disappointed me once. So hard to believe how many new pics there are of her on a consistent basis and have a strong feeling they won't be slowing down after her late February graduation. Too many Idols seem to take too long of a break when they graduate, when they make their return they've gone out of the minds of so many people and even the most popular Idols become sort of has-beens.
That's not going to be the case for Nanase as she may be even busier once she leaves Nogi as I bet it'll free up time for her to do many more activities. Do keep up with her happenings and think leaving Nogi is the only departure she'll be having in the near future. She'll remain as a co-host of her Saturday variety show and will continue to be a model for Non-no but don't think she's scheduled to represent them at tomorrow's 'TGC' show.
That variety show which Nanase co-hosts is 'Lion Go Touch' which airs Saturdays, have seen many of them and they're fairly decent watches though none have ever been subbed. Have a few pics here from their January 6th show.
Have talked often about the first 'Nogi/Keya Top Twenty Faves' list which I'll start on soon and will do an intro post for it in about a week or so. With her impending graduation decided not to include Nanase on the list, I truly have no idea where she would be positioned as it could be anywhere from second to 14th.
However had there been a top twenty list last year she would have taken the top spot easily. Nanase has also been a model for GRL and would presume she's going to continue working with them. Have posted many pics from the company but these are a few missed ones for their Winter collection.
Bet we'll be seeing Nanase expand her acting career greatly after she leaves Nogi and actually it's already started. On the 18th there will be a one time special episode of her "Video Girl Ai" drama which aired early in 2018. Plus she'll be in a regular drama which is called "Hiromi", the series will be starting on January 21st. She'll be playing the character of Yuko who is a bank teller. The show will be airing on TV-Tokyo and hopefully there will be an event for the drama. This is the only promo pic that has come out so far.
Nanase has been the worst member ever to update their Nogi blog over the years, never even bother checking her section these days. However others do post many pics and luckily for us many recent ones have featured her.
Can't have a post with no Non-no pics and here are a slew of recent superb ones from their site.
Think for all of Nanase's future posts will have a 'blast from the past' set of pics. Most have been posted already but they were so long ago sure almost everyone has forgotten all about them and will make sure all are at least four years old. That's what this set is as this is one of the first times Nanase was a cover girl which is from the October 23, 2014 edition of Young Jump.
Do have one new Nanase mag spread which is from the February issue of Entame and it features some older pics through the years. Hopefully the video will stay up for a while, it's after the pics and is a short one for the GRL Winter collection.
