Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: 2019 Magazine scans #1....

Not really the first post with 2019 mag spreads as they've been in two others though this is the first one devoted to them, at this time last year there were at least five of them. However had wanted to have a post for the Hiragana members and will try to do that within the week. Few days ago the group changed their name(!), won't reveal it now but guess they're trying to separate themselves more from the Kanji group. They will have two songs on the new single though but in more important news Hiragana will be releasing their first solo single on March 27th, more info on that next post for them.

Best news I've heard in many months is that finally and I mean finally Risa is going to have her first photobook. The magic date date of it's release is April 10th which should be a national holiday in Japan. No title for it but there's still two months to go until it comes out. Have been trying to have another solo post for Risa but there just hasn't been enough new pics though that should be changing as I'm sure she'll be appearing in many mags promoting it. There's a Twitter site set up for it which is where these pics are from, there's also an excellent 20+ second video there worth viewing at least once or in my case it's already been a hundred times....

Keya's eighth single "Kuroi Hitsuji" is coming out on February 27th, title translates over to Black Sheep though doubt if any gal has a family member call them that! Sure that means there will be plenty of mag spreads coming up plus hopefully a few event appearances, been a while since the group has been at one. There will be five versions of the single and here are the covers.

On to the mag spreads and while there's not a ton of them all are simply superb and as is the case for Keya all are quite conservative. Shiori is a Kanji member who I rarely see appear in mags, she looks fairly good in this set from the February issue of Entame and it may be her first solo spread.

Neru is one of my fave members so it's a bit disappointing to see her in the back row for the new single. It makes no sense why management doesn't promote her more as she does have the third best selling Idol photobook of all time plus she's such an interesting person. Some fans have wondered why she didn't transfer back to Hiragana where she started off but think it's too late for that now. She has the next set which features some ultra terrific pics, it's a spread for her 'coming of age' occasion and is from the January edition of 20+ Sweet.

More Neru and she's joined by the my fave duo of 'W-Watanabe'. What an unbeatable trio and this A++++ set of pics is from the February issue of BLT.

Here's another trio of members from that BLT issue. Minami is in this spread, she's in the front row again for the upcoming single and wouldn't mind seeing a photobook for her.

Final spread once again features Rika and it's nice seeing more of her as she's my #2 fave member. But it's even better seeing her joined by Nanako who I may put #5 on my fave Keya member's list, she's such an underrated attractive gal plus could be the group's most interesting person. The pair also had the cover for the January issue of Bomb.
